I am not being mean. Simcontributor has broken our policies and guidelines on many occasions despite being told not to and we have been nothing, but patient. He has recieved several helpful tips and notifications about his actions on his talk page, which is where users communicate with each other. Simcontributor's "mother", wait wait wait. First of all, I blocked him, on request by another user, not Duskey. Don't put the blame on him. Secondly, did he ever tell you what the f*** (sorry for the profanity, but this is lame) did he do on here and he got blocked? Deleting stuff from pages and attacking other users is not something you get away with. Thirdly, what happens if he gets angry? Will he hack the wikia or what? Oh I'm scared. Fourthly, if you are his mother, as you claim, help him get past his anger issues. Fifthly, getting angry by comments about you coming from the internet means you have no life. Sixthly, if he has such a big problem about Duskey, tell him not to come on here again. Seventhly, this is NOT a social site like facebook, this is a wikia, which means "an indefinite source of information about a specific subject". Patches and secret lots

Hey, I need some wisdom here... It's about Apartment Life patch. I've downloaded it 3 times and at 99,97% it always stopped. I've had enough and I wanted to ask you this. If I install Mansion and Garden stuff, will it include Apartment Life patch too?

Also, if I create a college or a vacation destination, will it automatically include its secret lot? Or do I have to make it myself? Or, is secret lot not available to custom vacation destination and college?

I don't see why. Administrative tasks are at a minimum. There's rarely any articles for deletion and when there is, they're deleted quickly. Vandalism is also low and also handled quickly. --Duskey^talk 04:13, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Just A Question

Ello! I was just browsing the wiki when I saw the cheat page for The Sims for the iPhone. (that was you who put the cheat there right?) Anyway, I followed the steps and my simoleons didn't seem to grow. When I have an unlimited amount is it supposed to show that the amount is growing of do I just assume that they are all there. Sorry to jump in as well - they are not forbidden under all cases, but it's highly variable. Typically, if a user creates a new account, they're expected to discontinue using their old one. Alternatively, multiple operating accounts are sometimes acceptable if the person is not trying to hide that fact and doesn't use the dual account to their advantage, or improperly (i.e. to sway a vote or discussion their way).

Monster (and any user that wants a new account) will probably have to present a convincing reason to have another account, because it's typically not enough to just want to have a second account - you usually need to have a good reason for it. -- LostInRiverview ^{talk · blog} 18:52, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

Wikia's New Look

As you know, the Wikia's New Look will be available soon. Have you already ideas on what you are going to do, choose "Monobook" or the "New Look"? If you choose the "New Look", do you plan to change your "infobox" (like "Simbios") because they are a little big for the new content area, and the text will be compressed.

Monster2821's adminship

Now on the subject that is currently on your hand, Monster2821's adminship. Now, truth be told, when he first requested, HE DID NOT deserve his admin rights. All he did was edit his user page and talk page and didn't help the wiki at all. Including vandalizing a page which he caused to be protected by the admins so vandals like him don't vandalize important pages again. Now, he has done some good work, although one thing still concerns me. His hunger for power. He really wants to become a bureaucrat and I'm honestly hoping no one nominates him. A morris spoke with him and told him to stop, but I don't really believe he listened. Now, "Danny" isn't exactly admin of the day, in fact he really doesn't deserve adminship as other people do. But, he can do the job, and he does it pretty well.

I think that should be all. I'm still not sure if he should keep his rights as admin, since he didn't earn them, a_morris just accepted him for some reason, but he's an admin and I'm sure that, thats going to stay that way. [Ѧüя◎ґ]

Potential Vandal

Sometime today (Oct. 1st) someone edited the The Sims 3 (Console) in the "Xbox360/PS3 Features" section and added "* it has been confirmed that you can transfer your sim into the real world in order to have sexual intercorse with them" A feature I highly doubt was confirmed. Unfair block

My block and Auror's was unfair I will explain why and explain the edits on Beverly Castor page:

1. I reduced an image
2. I reduced an image again but I forgot texting that on summary
3. Auror deletes a thing of an old edit
4. I reverted the edit
5. She reverted the edit

Catagories

i was wondering about creating a new catagory but i wanted to run it by you first. i know we have one called "skill objects" but eversince Ambitions was released there's one that atleast two items fall under. my suggestion is "Multiple skill objects". my basis for this is the workbench teaches both Inventing and Handiness, and the training dummy teaching the Martial Arts and Athletic skills. dunno if this would be a waste but it's something to consider. So sorry to bother you, but I have no clue how to make a userbox. I've checked the Userbox template pages, and all that jazz, but I'm still confused. Would it be possible for you to get me started?
