Greetings and I have a lot of questions needed to be answered. I would like to thank those here at The Sims Wiki for allowing us to get others to know the game and share our stories together. With that said, here are my questions.

  1. I asked the administrators here, sometime ago, that my wiki site be affiliated with this site but I was turned down. I took inventory and would love to ask again as a fanon wiki site, similar to Sims Fanon site, but I feel that my "fanon" site could be a sister site to this site. My question is may I be affiliated to this site as a fanon \ sister site to this site?
  2. This question is related to Player Stories. At my site, I am allowing to allow players to create story(ies) from pre-made or user-created sims, but, here at this site; it is only geared for pre-made sims. I have created some shows based from real life shows that the pre-made sims are the sim-made version of the real life shows. Question is that this style of player story allowed here?

Thanks for everything! Sundogs American Law WikiApple Wiki 22:02, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

First, what is your fanon site? Is it already here or here? If it is not please make your request there. Second, I am not entirely sure what you are trying to describe about your "shows". But I think the answer to your question would be "no", since the premade sims are acting as characters from another "story" not the one set up for them by EA or Maxis. I.e. they are being used as models. --a_morris (talk) 18:43, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

To answer your question this late is obvious where I am at here in the last year, but, the last link you provided GC is where my wiki site is located. Two conserns that I have and which are the affiliates should be routinely be checked for pending requests and secondly, I have looked it up in Marian Websters Collegiate Dictionary and Fanon is technically is the derived from of Canon, example Star Wars or any of the well established brands like Star Wars, that is is an alteration of officially recognized meaning of the franchise, but, to have a "Fan" writing a story is technically called Fanon. But I like to have the actual word being used and all things pertaining to the Canons to be listed. That is MHO now since learning the meaning of the word. As far as my shows that I posed to you is that it is a canon story which derives from the actual context of the storyline that has been made by EA. Also to note, that the shows are fictitious in terms and takes the ability of a humorous look at things. The basic principle is derived from multi-derived meaning, The Real Housewives is derived from The Desperate Housewives which is derived from the American movie American Beauty but takes the meaning of all sources of derivatives and so, is there a way to compromise the issue to better off the two sides?
