I have more than a few Sims in The Sims 2 who I had killed by fire for storytelling purposes, but my recreations of those Sims in The Sims 4 are still alive, even though they were supposed to have died from a fire long before.

It's really frustrating, because I can literally NEVER get Sims to intentionally start a fire through cooking. The only times I have ever had a fire start in the game were by non-active Sims cooking autonomously (and even then, other Sims autonomously put out the fire). And I do not have the patience to try the other methods I know of for starting fires. Is there an easy way to kill Sims through fire? If not, could anyone suggest a mod where you can kill Sims and select a specific death type that works with the most recent patches? Mariaw (talk) 04:03, July 18, 2018 (UTC)
