The Free Spirits household is a pre-made household residing in Windenburg, the world introduced in The Sims 4: Get Together. It consists of two artistic friends, Maaike Haas and Ulrike Faust. They live in the Cottage Am See lot and start off with 5,500 Simoleons.
Maaike likes books, writing, and wants to write and sell a few stories, while Ulrike is very artistic, and is yet to have painted a painting that meets her exacting standards. They both aren't materialistic, but do admit that their house needs a few upgrades here and there.
Onomatology
Free Spirits: Plural of the word "free spirit", which means an independent or uninhibited person.
Maaike: Dutch diminutive of Maria.
Haas: Means "hare" in Dutch.
Ulrike: German feminine form of Ulrich, which comes from the Germanic name Odalric meaning "prosperity and power".
Faust: Might possibly come from the German word "Faust", meaning "fist", or from the German book Faust that contains supernatural occurrences, tying in with her appearance being closely supernatural in nature.
