Hairdo, clothes, tattoos and name can all be changed without the use of cheats. IF YOU ASPIRE TO HAVE A CHEATFREE GAME, do NOT BOTHER TO READ FURTHER. THERE IS NO WAY OF CHANGING THE FACIAL AND BODILY STRUCTURE OR MENTAL ATTRIBUTES OF YOUR SIM WITHOUT USING CHEATS TO SOME DEGREE.

1. #Press ctrl-shift-cCtrl+Shift+C to bring up the Cheatscheat barconsole.
Warning: This tutorial is for those who have just started out and really do not know how to do this.
#Type in the bar that appears on top of the screen "testingcheatsenabled true" (without the quotations).
#Shift-click the Sim that requires editing and select "Edit in CAS".
#Make whatever changes are desired.
#Make sure to save your changes.
#Before closing the game, make sure to bring up the cheat console again and type "testingcheatsenabled false" (without quotations).

This does not always work when changing life states, i.e. Human to Anything works, but not Anything to Human or Anything to Anything. Untested for Genies.
1. Press ctrl-shift-c to bring up the Cheats bar.

2. Type in testingcheatsenabled true.
Also note that if you do this after you build up the Martial Arts Skill in ''[[The Sims 3: World Adventures]]'', the Sim will revert back to the original Sim whenever they are in their martial arts uniform(s). However, they will change back to the new Sim when changed into one of their other outfits.
3. After that, ctrl-click on the Sim you want to edit and a pie chart should pop up.
