Becoming a creature of the night is both fun and fatal in The Sims series. Here is a step-by-step guide to becoming a vampire.

The Sims: Making Magic

  1. Choose a existing Sim
  2. Teach him how to use magic
  3. Use the "Beauty or Beast" spell. If successful, your Sim will now be a vampire.

The Sims 2: Nightlife

  1. Go downtown at night with high needs. You are going to be there for a while
  2. Wait there for a while. Try to find a "Count" or "Countess". They wear grand clothing and have pale skin
  3. Talk to him/her
  4. Get you're relationship high enough. Remember, you can invite him/her over later, but first you have to know them
  5. When available, ask the vampire to bite you

The Sims 3: Late Night

  1. After Late Night is installed, vampires will spawn in every neighborhood, but it is much easier to look for them in Bridgeport
  2. Choose/create a normal Sim
  3. Befriend a vampire
  4. Ask him/her to bite you
  5. Wait for about 3 days

OR

  1. Go to Bridgeport
  2. Select a pre-made vampire
  3. Play as the vampire or befriend targeted Sims and change them.

Tips

  • Vampires in The Sims: Making Magic are purely cosmetic.
  • Vampires in Bridgeport are very easy to find, and there are almost always 1 or 2 at the Plasma 501.
  • Vampirism is inheritable in Late Night, so children have a 50/50 percent chance to be born as vampires if one parent is a vampire, and will be vampires if both parents are vampires.
