Genie's lamp

Should your Sim ever clean the Antique Lamp introduced in Livin' Large, a genie will pop out and give you a choice between two elements. Then, the genie will randomly chose a positive or negative outcome. Here are the choices he can give you:

• Money or Love: If you chose Money, the positive outcome will be a pot of gold, but the negative outcome will be the appearance of three overdue bills. If you chose Love, someone will fall in love with you as the positive outcome; unsurprisingly, someone will hate you for the negative one.

• Work or Leisure: If you chose Work, the positive outcome will be your Sim gains three skill points, but will lose three if the negative outcome appears; if you chose Leisure, a pinball machine will appear for the positive outcome, but for the negative one, something will catch fire.

• Fire or Water: If you chose Fire, everyone in the house will feel better (positive outcome), or something will catch fire (negative outcome); if you chose Water, a fountain will appear (positive outcome) or there will be a flood (negative outcome).

• Earth or Air: If you chose Earth, the positive outcome will be all the plants will become beautified, whilst the negative outcome is that all plants will die. If you chose Air, the positive outcome will that some pink flamingos will appear, whilst the negative outcome will be that cockroaches infest the house.

• Friends or Family: If you chose Friends, you will gain a new friend (positive outcome), or a friend will like you less (negative outcome); if you chose family, a family member will like you more (positive outcome), or there will be a family crisis (negative outcome).

Remember, you can only clean the lamp once a day, so the genie can only appear once a day as well.
