Hugh Thanasia is one of Olive Specter's many husbands. He died an early death, and, as with Olive's other husbands (including her ex-lover Earl E. DeMise, who left Olive at the altar), it is suggested that perhaps, Olive murdered him. This theory has not been proved, yet it is a strong possibility.
Hugh is buried in the cemetery on Olive's lot in Strangetown.
