Hugh Thanasia is the twin brother of Lou Thanasia and is one of Olive Specter's many husbands. He died an early death, and, as with Olive's other husbands (including her ex-lover Earl E. DeMise, who left Olive at the altar), it is suggested that perhaps, Olive murdered him. This theory has not been proved, yet it is a strong possibility. His name is a pun on euthanasia.
