Hunter is a pet trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets and The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs.

The Sims 3: Pets

 

The Hunter trait is available for dogs and cats.

Pets with the Hunter trait are excellent at stalking and catching prey.

Attributes

  • Pets will gain the Hunting skill more quickly.
  • Pets will autonomously hunt more often.

The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs

 

The Hunter trait is only available for dogs, but there is a functionally equivalent cat trait called Prowler. It has no conflicts.

These dogs are natural hunters. Send them off into the world and they’ll hunt and dig for things.
