Jaguar in The Sims Castaway Stories
Jaguar is an animal introduced on The Sims Castaway Stories.
The only one found in the game is in the Story Mode (Shipwrecked & Single), and her name is Mata. Amanaki Tama got her to guard the way to the Cursed Village, were the player was supposed to go to retrieve Fangaloka Manave's drums. The player would have to "gain her trust" before they could proceed into the village. To do that, they would have to drug her with a special leaf found in the Shaman's Hut. After they do so, the way would be open.
Jaguars cannot be found later in the story. They were probably intended to be in the normal game mode because if the player looks the Hygiene motive of an hyena or orangutan it says "Jaguars will clean themselves and so will orangutans." Although the player can't see the jaguar he/she can download a mod that can fix this. With this mod the player can get the jaguar but cannot control him/her (even with cheats). This jaguar has a scratch motive like cats.

- Jaguars can pounce Sims, scaring them.
- Jaguars are the cat version in the game just like hyenas are the dog version.
