Jaguar in The Sims Castaway Stories

Jaguar is an animal found on theShipwrecked and Single mode. The main character must tame Mata, the jaguar, in order to get in to the next phase of the story.

Jaguars cannot be found later in the story. They were probably intended to be in the game because if the player looks the Hygiene motive of an hyena or orangutan it says "Jaguars will clean themselves and so will orangutans." Although the player can't see the jaguar he/she can download a mod that can fix this. With this mod the player can get the jaguar but cannot control him/her (even with cheats). This jaguar has a scratch motive like cats.

Trivia

• Jaguars can pounce Sims, scaring them.
• Jaguars are the cat version in the game just like hyenas are the dog version.
