Jazlyn Parrott (née Shepherd) is a pre-made Sim, living in Appaloosa Plains. She is married to Kanoa, and has a son with him, Ethan. She also has two sisters - Alani, who is not playable, and Hailey Shepherd, who is living in the Unfettered with Feathers household, with whom she is best friends and good friends respectively. She is at the first trimester of pregnancy. Jazlyn, as implied, is not very lucky: her husband is absent from house life; she takes care of her son Ethan, who isn't growing up with the needed support from a strong paternal figure; and she doesn't know what to do. She is not aware of her husband's multiple affairs. Consequently, Ethan has been growing much closer to Jazlyn than to his father. Jazlyn and Ethan are best friends. Jazlyn is also best friends with Alouette Bird, a journalist and bird lover in the town, and friends with the local "live-in" repairman, Benjamin Schmidt. She holds the part-time job of Produce Quality Assessor at the Grocery Store Clerk.
