She abused her High Society Position while she had it, by starting an affair and arguing with her husband frequently. It says she divorced him when he demanded an heir, though their memories of him catching her cheating are more likely to have caused their divorce. Then again, getting caught won't always be the end of a relationship. If they did break up because Armand wanted a baby, then it is unknown why Jessica divorced him for that. Maybe she didn't want to have to go through pregnancy and raising the child.

This is perhaps due to his money, and his closeness to death by Old Age (Since Carlos is an Elder with a lot of money Jessica could simply wait until he dies so that she may keep all his money and get an inheritance as well). Implied to be a gold digger, Jessica was once the wife of the well-known socialte Armand DeBateau, before she broke up with him after being found in an Affair with Mystery Sim.
