Upon examining the family's [[memories]], Jon Smith appears to have been the first family member to die, leaving a large inheritance to his [[Jennicor Tricou|wife]].
His ghost appears pale blue, and complains about lack of food and checks the fridge regularly, indicating that he died of starvation, but it is known that moving gravestones into a cemetery will cause the ghosts to appear with the color of a starvation ghost. Also, giving inheritance is only possible if the Sim in question has died of old age, which suggests that Jon Smith originally died of old age.
