The Jones family is a Maxis-made family that can be downloaded from the "Get Cool Stuff" section of the official The Sims website, or from this page at SimEchoes. The SimEchoes page has pictures of their house at 1 Sim Lane. The family consists of Edward Jones, Barbara Jones and Bobby Jones.[1]

Onomatology

Derived from "Son of John".[2]  Its use in the game probably refers to the idea of "keeping up with the Joneses".

While players will often place this family in Neighborhood 1, it can be imported into any neighborhood.
