Judith Peynter is a Sim that appeared as one of the citizens to choose in SimCity 4. In The Sims: Livin' Large, there is a painting named Judith Peynter - Self Portrait with this description:

Late 17th century. Peynter was both praised and loathed by contemporary critical opinion. She was seen as dangerous because she was a woman exercising a creative ability thought to be exclusively male. These fears proved well founded when she took the lives of two particularly avid critics, as well as her own, in a leap to their deaths from a castle tower.

In The Sims 2, it seems that her descendant, Olive Peynter, followed in her footsteps as a painter. One of the paintings from the base game is titled Olive Peynter's City SkyScape.
