Karaoke machine is an activity in The Sims: Superstar, The Sims 2: Nightlife and The Sims 3: Superstar.

The Sims: Superstar

The karaoke machine is an object from The Sims: Superstar expansion pack. If your Sims have little to no charisma skill points, their karaoke songs will suck. They can sing a Ballad, Rock, Dance Mix, Big Band, or Country song with this object.

The Sims 2: Nightlife

The VovoPhonicSim Karaoke Machine is an object added in The Sims 2: Nightlife. It can be found in the Audio section of Buy Mode. Sim can sing solo and duet. Sim picks a random song and begins to sing. Builds creativity skill. Children may perform this interaction but can't perform sing duet.

Song quality depends on creativity. Other sims watch and may boo or cheer. They also other Sims dance to the music until stop singing. If FreeTime is installed, it also builds enthusiasm for the music hobbby.

The Sims 3: Showtime

The karaoke machine will return in The Sims 3: Showtime. As the Sims 2: Nightlife, Sim can sing solo and duet. Sim picks a random song and begins to sing. Builds creativity skill. Unlike The Sims 2: Nightlife, children can perform sing duet. Other sims watch and may boo or cheer and other sims can be dance.

Sims who have reached level 8 in the Handiness skill, can upgrade it to include an Singing Synthesizer.
