The Keaton Family are featured in The Sims 3 as a premade family. They are a sporty couple. Justine Keaton is a police officer but her husband Marty works in the Athletic career track. Justine is pregnant with their child. If Justine's pregnancy is left undisturbed, the baby tends to be born a boy with the trais Good and Couch Potato. This family is created to demonstrate hidden traits from descendants of some NPCs (With the exception of Can Salute, which can be just found by the descendant of people who work for the military). Once the baby is born, the family's difficult level changes from two to three.

Onomatology

Keaton Derived from the word tun which means 'town, settlement, homestead'. The first name is from the surname which is itself of a place possibly meaning 'shed town'
