Some rewards that come in the form of objects can be sold for [[Simoleon]]s. Base game reward objects are worth 1/5 of the lifetime happiness. I.e. a Food Replicator that costs 50,000 points can be sold for §10,000. Reward objects from various expansion packs aren't bound to this. Some of them are worth less, and some other are valueless.

Other lifetime rewards, such as '''Long Distance Friend''', are rendered redundant by successfully completing skill journal milestones, such as the Super Friendly charisma challenge.
