Loyal is a pet trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets. The trait is only available for dogs.
"A dog is the best friend of Sims” is a saying where there is something for sure! Loyal dogs like it, time to spend with their Sims. And they seem to learn skills more quickly than other dogs.

- Dog will tend to follow around the Sims with whom they have the highest relationship.
- Dog will learn skills more quickly
- Dog will build relationship with family members more quickly.
