Magician is a type of career track in The Sims 3: Showtime.

History

They were originally planned as a Service NPCs for parties in The Sims 3, but developers removed them before its release however traces of them can still be found in the game as they were re-introduced into the game following patch 1.8.25, but because their services were still not included in any expansion packs at the time they can only be seen wandering around the park in the afternoon hours for a brief time.

It was difficult to interact with one of them, because they tend to vanish just before a Sim reaches them. This does not always happen, and it is possible to talk to a Magician in the park. In earlier patches of the game it was reported that there were glitches surrounding the offsprings of Magicians but now they have been fixed, so it is now safe to WooHoo with them.

Following the introduction of the Magician career for the release of The Sims 3: Showtime, they will be re-introduced in the The Sims 3 games.
