Mail carriers are a type of NPC appearing in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3.
What they do
Every Tuesday and Thursday(Every two days on a TS2:U college lot) they deliver items like love/hate letters, Bills, Written books and mounted fish. You can talk to them, ask them to hang out, and give the a monetary tip.
