'''Malcolm Landgraab IV''' is a pre-made playable [[Sim]] who lives alone in a large mansion in [[Bluewater Village]], the default shopping district from ''[[The Sims 2: Open for Business]]''. He has the same first name as his great grandfather, grandfather and father. When first played, he is at the beginning of the [[adult]] [[life stage]], and has 3 [[skill]] points in [[Charisma]].
Malcolm owns two [[community lot]]s, [[Club Dante]] and [[Electronics Supercenter]]. Even though the Electronics Supercenter sells TV sets, he does not own one. However, the house is very well furnished, with expensive furniture. Since [[Fortune]] Sims often want to buy furniture, this may complicate satisfying some of Malcolm's [[wants]].
In the [[Landgraab family#Photo Album|Landgraab family album]], there is a picture of Malcolm and a woman who resembles [[Nina Caliente]] in the hot tub. Her face is not clearly visible, and Malcolm and Nina have no [[memories]] of one another,<ref>Malcolm can't have memories of Nina because he will exist in any [[neighborhood]] the Bluewater Village shopping district is associated with, but Nina only exists in [[Pleasantview]]. It can be troublesome to have Malcolm get [[marriage|married]], as his spouse and child(ren) will inherit the "IV" part of his last name, unless the player uses [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]] to edit it out, or his spouse is the one who proposes the marriage. He is the only pre-made Sim to own two community lots and the only one to own a club.
Strangely, Malcolm's skin tone is inconsistent with the skin tones of his ancestors. All of his grandparents have light skin (S1), both of his parents have tan skin (S2), and he has medium skin (S3). It is unclear how this could have happened, so it may have been an oversight by the developers.
While there is a picture of Malcolm with a woman in a hot tub, he has no [[gender preference]] at the start of the game.
