Materialistic

Materialistic is a lifestyle trait in The Sims 4. It is only available for teens and older, and conflicts with the freegan trait.

"These Sims can Admire and Brag about Possessions and become Sad when they haven't purchased a new item for a period of time."

Attributes

• Materialistic Sims will get the "I Love Things!" moodlet when they admire new furniture.
  • After the player buys something new, an interaction "Admire" becomes available.

    

• Materialistic Sims will get the "Stale Surroundings" moodlet when they have old furniture.
• Materialistic Sims can complain about their belongings in their home.
