He was the husband of [[Mary Antross]], the father of [[Melanie DeBateau]] {{nee|Antross}}, the grandfather of [[Armand DeBateau]], and the [[adoption|adoptive]] great-grandfather of [[Tara DeBateau]]. Matthiew is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the [[Romance]] [[Aspiration (The Sims 2)|aspiration]], and the [[Taurus]] [[zodiac sign]]. As far as [[personality]], Matthiew is very playful, and a little bit neat and outgoing. But he is quite lazy and somewhat grouchy.

According to his age data, he had 11 days left in the [[elder]] [[life stage]] when he died.
