In the [[Best in Show]] story, Coach and Meat compete in the SimCity Dog Show together against [[Alice Whitt]] and her dog [[Sam Whitt|Sam]]. He first appears in the story at [[List of Garden Heights lots#Playground for Precious|Playground for Precious]], where Alice arrives with her dog Sam to registrate for the dog show.

Coach and Meat Grinder are participating first, right when Alice arrives. After everyone finished, Meat and Bruno get into a fight, which causes both of them to be disqualified from the dog show.
