He is an adult [[List of pet breeds|Pit Bull Terrier]] and wears a teal collar. In the [[Best in Show]] story, Coach and Meat compete in the SimCity Dog Show together against [[Alice Whitt]] and her dog [[Sam Whitt|Sam]]. He first appears in the story at [[List of Garden Heights lots#Playground for Precious|Playground for Precious]], where Alice arrives with her dog Sam to registrate for the dog show.
He appears at [[List of Garden Heights lots#The Show Park|The Show Park]] where the dog show qualifications for the SimCity final take place. Coach and Meat Grinder are participating first, right when Alice arrives. [[Melissa Carter]] and her dog [[Bruno Carter|Bruno]] are up next, followed by Alice and Sam and [[Diana DeBore]] and [[Precious DeBore|Precious]]. After everyone finished, Meat and Bruno get into a fight, which causes both of them to be disqualified from the dog show.
