Her intended purpose as Nanihi's mother is unknown. However, since two [[elder]]s and a [[child]] can't be created in [[CAS]] without an adult parent for that child, it seems possible that Merica served that purpose. Merica has the [[Knowledge]] [[Aspiration (The Sims 2)\|aspiration]] and the [[Gemini]] [[zodiac sign]].
