Line 24: Due to a bug, gems and rocks dug up by the miner do not count towards a Sim's collection score. This means that the miner cannot be used to complete the gem collector challenge in order to obtain the Heart-Shaped gem cut. Metals, however, do count. If one owns both the Ambitions and Seasons expansion packs, and if it's snowy outside, they won't be able to use the Miner due to the snow being "too thick". *If one drills near a police station, it is possible that a few burglars climb out of the hole, as if they were breaking out of jail.
