Missy Grunt (née Melons) is one of the pre-made, yet unplayable Sims in The Sims 2. She resided during her lifetime in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods shipped with the game. Missy was the illegitimate or "love" child of Mike Steel and Mary Melons, and thus, she is the only pre-made deceased sim in The Sims 2 who had parents that were never married. She was the wife of General Chip Grunt, the mother of General Buzz Grunt and the grandmother of Tank Grunt, Ripp Grunt, and Buck Grunt, and ex-mother-in-law of Lyla Grunt. Not much else is known about Missy, since she is only seen in the family tree of her grandchildren.
According to her SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was red before it turned grey. According to Missy's age information, she had 27 days left in the elder life stage when she died. As with many pre-made Sims in Strangetown, the "Skintone" part of her Sim DNA is missing. Missy bears a striking resemblance to Alyssa Pachis and a slight resemblance to Kaylynn Langerak. According to her son's memories, she died right after the birth of Tank. Judging from her personality, Missy was probably relaxed and easy going, unlike her son.
