Sims 3

Enter cheat mode:
type: ^ Ctrl+⇧ Shift+C
type: kaching
Notes: Gives current household an additional 1,000 Simoleons.

Also, with this cheat, it's possible to type in motherlode or kaching, then a number of ";!"s next to it. Each of these gives an additional §1,000, so the more you put in, the more money the family will get.

Trivia

  • motherlode was one of the "constructors" in Stanislaw Lem's The Cyberiad.
  • motherlode was probably changed since it was too hard for players to remember.
  • The word "Kaching" might be a reference to the movie Citizen Kane from the director Orson Wells, which tells the story from childhood to death of a rich newspaper mogul, Charles Foster Kane, "Kaching" being his final word.
