Monsters under bed
Monsters may appear underneath beds in The Sims 3: Supernatural and The Sims 4. However, only children can see and interact with them.
In The Sims 3: Supernatural, the player can direct a playable child to perform an interaction "Checking for Monsters Under The Bed" at a bed. This will result the child to obtain one of two moodlets - No Monsters and Monsters & Terrified. No Monsters moodlet will give a +15 mood boost, while the Monsters & Terrified will give a -15 mood decrease, let the child run frantically and will not let the child sleep or relax for two hours in the bed that the child sim checked for monsters. A Sim with a brave trait has a higher chance to get the positive moodlet, while the coward sim has a higher chance to get the negative moodlet.
In The Sims 4, monster repellant can be purchased to ward off monsters; Sims may also attempt to befriend the monster.
