The Moodlet Manager is an object in The Sims 3, The Sims 3 (console) and The Sims 3 Pets (console).

The Moodlet Manager has a Cure and Zap function. Cure removes all negative and neutral moodlets but sometimes will malfunction and empty a Sim's energy need. Zap empties a Sim's energy the same way when Cure malfunctions. ==Functions==
The Moodlet Manager has a Cure and Zap function. Cure removes all negative and neutral moodlets but sometimes will give a Zap instead resulting in a negative moodlet. The Moodlet Manager will also fill needs if they are low enough to produce a negative or neutral moodlet. Some Moodlets such as Missing Work (from the Workaholic trait) cannot be cured (See Notes).

While the gadget removes many moodlets with unwanted downfall effects (e.g, "Fatigue"), it can be disadvantageous when it clears some other neutral moodlets that are beneficial (such as "Turbo Sleep," "Invigorated," or "Wish Master"). However, it still can be very practical for certain moodlets that have special effects on Sims. For example, curing a Sim will instantly complete transformation to become a vampire, cure zombies and Sims cursed by a mummy, cure a singed Sim, and so on.
The Cure function will instantly complete transformation to a vampireTS3:LN.

The Singed moodlet will be removed and humans and vampires will be able to change clothes. However, this will not allow them to use a dresser to change their clothes
Appearance in games
The Sims 3
In the Windows and Mac OS X version, it is obtainable as a Lifetime Reward for 60,000 Lifetime Happiness points. When purchased, it will appear in the Sim's inventory. The Moodlet Manager can only be used by the Sim that has it in their inventory, so the player will need to move it between Sims.

If the Grim Reaper takes away a Sim that has a Moodlet Manager, it will be moved to another Sim. However, if a child who has a Moodlet Manager is taken away by the Socialsocial worker, the Moodlet Manager will not be transferred to another Sim.

A Moodlet Manager can be sold for up to §12,000. The price may depreciate over time.

The Sims 3 (console)
In The Sims 3 (console), it is a Challenge Reward that can be purchased for 450 Challenge points. When the reward is purchased, it can be bought for §3000 in any saved game even those with cheats enabled . It has the same functions as in The Sims 3 but when placed in the inventory, any Sim in the household can use the Cure and Zap functions.

Since cheats disable challenges, players cannot complete challenges to earn 450 points.

Mostly Dead moodlet
In The Sims 3 for console, the "Mostly Dead" moodlet is applied to a Sim that has died and been turned into a ghost. When the moodlet expires, the affected Sim will be sent to the Netherworld. The moodlet lasts for 5 days, giving the affected Sim some time to cure/resurrect themselves before they pass on completely.

The Moodlet Manager will remove this moodlet, allowing the Sim to stay in their ghost form for as long as the Player stays in the game. If the player quits out of their game and rejoins, their Sims will have re-applied the "Mostly Dead" moodlet, which restarts the 5-day countdown. The player may use the Moodlet Manager to cure their affected Sims infinitely.

The Sims 3 Pets (console)
In The Sims 3 Pets (console), it can be obtained as an invention when a Sim has Level 10 Inventing. It's hassimilar to the sameone features asin The Sims 3 and The Sims 3 (console) but there are differences. It cannot remove neutral moodlets such as Fatigued and initially has 5 charges.

<references />
*Sims will not use it autonomously.
*In The Sims 3 (console), the Moodlet Manager costs §3,000.
*It will remove the Publicly Disgraced moodletTS3:LN, but will not affect relationships.
*If a Sim is Pumped, it will not fill Energy if that need is low.
*The Sore moodlet will not be removed. In addition, moodlets that last indefinitely until an action occurs, such as those which result from a Workaholic missing work, dirty objects, darkness, or crying babies will not be removed by the Moodlet Manager.
*The Moodlet Manager will actually fill a need to cure a moodlet, but will not give your Sim the moodlet that goes with that need.  i.e., if a Sim is hungry and uses the moodlet manager, it's impossible to get the "Great Meal" moodlet.*This doesn't apply to the Squeaky Clean moodlet.
