Morgyn's spellcaster rank is Virtuoso, the highest rank. A new Sage of Untamed Magic will be generated to take Morgyn's place if he dies or is moved into a household. Morgyn is the only pre-made Sim in Glimmerbrook who has no skills.
 
Morgyn's gender is given as male in [[Create a Sim]]. He has a masculine frame and a preference for feminine clothing. He is unable to become pregnant or get other Sims pregnant, and he cannot use the toilet standing up. This combination of traits leads many fans to believe that Morgyn may be non-binary, though EA has never officially confirmed or denied anything about Morgyn's gender. The game itself uses he/him pronouns to describe Morgyn.
 
Morgyn's inability to become pregnant nor get other sims pregnant more likely points to him possibly being intersex. Because the most common cause for a lack of functioning genitalia is vaginal agenesis, Morgyn may possibly have been assigned female at birth and transitioned to being physically male at some point during his life.
