He starts the game as a Vice President in the [[Business]] [[~~Career~~career]] track. Though Nick is far advanced in the Business career, he actually wishes to join the [[Criminal]] career. Initially he has 4 [[Athletic (skill)\|athletic]] [[skill]] points and 2 [[~~Handiness~~handiness]] skill points. He has a very muscular body and large build and he loves to work out, strength workouts in particular. In his inventory are a laptop and a mystery novel, ''Game of Thorns''. Although he shares a good [[relationship]] with his wife, he and his daughter are little better than strangers. He starts out as an acquaintance of his wife's friends [[Gunther Goth\|Gunther]] and [[Cornelia Goth]] as well as their son [[Mortimer Goth\|Mortimer]]. He is old enemies with [[Geoffrey Landgraab\|Geoffrey]] and [[Nancy Landgraab]], but shares a neutral relationship with the couple's son [[Malcolm Landgraab (The Sims 3)\|Malcolm Landgraab]]. He is in a feud with the Landgraabs. It seems likely that this business feud involves Nancy Landgraab in particular. Both Nancy and Nick are ambitious workaholics who are vice-presidents in the Business career, and they appear to be in competition to become the next CEO. Also, in the description for the vice-president position, it mentions that "the competition to become the next CEO is stiff", which could refer to their race to get to the top. He is noted, along with his wife, for being one of the evil [[Sim]]s in the neighborhood, and for being the unofficial owner of most of the shops and businesses. He does not have the [[Evil (The Sims 3)\|evil]] [[Trait (The Sims 3)\|trait]] like his wife does, however; he is [[mean- spirited]] instead. He and his wife Vita Alto get ahead by pushing others down, as it says that they have "plotted the misfortune of almost everyone they've met".
