The Pertridge family is a family living in Hidden Springs from The Sims 3. It consists of Lonnie, her two daughters, Eunice and Astrid, and her stepdaughter Ella. They live in a house near the center of the town and are fairly rich, having 20,000 Simoleons in family funds. Ella is being treated like the family's maid while her stepmother privileges her stepsisters and is trying to marry them off to Sebastian Vanderburg, who is part of the "royal" family in the town.
The family seems to be based on the fairy tale "Cinderella" with Ella having two mean step-sisters and an evil step-mother who wants to marry one of her sisters off to the prince of the town, while Ella, however, becomes more attractive to the prince and both ending up marrying each other. This is, however, up to the player. Ella's name is most likely a pun on the name "Cinderella".
