Play
Sims can play with each other without the use of additional objects in The Sims series. Some activities require a certain relationship score to become available. Playing always requires at least two Sims and will boost both the fun and social motives.

The Sims 2
- Punch U - Punch Me: Sims make a stance and take turns on punching each other at their upper arms. Sims test their endurance by giving each other 5 blows until the victim feels pain before switching places. This interaction increases the relationship by 10 points.
- Toss football: Sim that asked to play will take and throw a rugby ball at the playing Sim, who will catch and throw it back. Both Sims will pass the rugby ball back and forth like so. If a Sim fails to catch it in time, he or she will pick it up from the ground and throw it back at the opponent, both continuing the game. This interaction increases the relationship by 4 points.
- Play Catch: Sim that asked to play will take and throw a baseball at the playing Sim, who will catch and throw it back. Both Sims will pass the rugby ball back and forth like so. If a Sim fails to catch it in time, he or she will pick it up from the ground and throw it back at the opponent, both continuing the game. This interaction increases the relationship by 15 points.
