Pollination Tech#9 Smith is a retired [[Pollination Technician]] who fathered [[Glarn Curious]]' daughters [[Lola Singles|Lola]] and [[Chloe Singles|Chloe]] through [[Alien abduction]]. He retired as an adult on his favorite planet where he married [[Jenny Smith|Jenny]] with whom he has two children, [[Johnny Smith|Johnny]] and [[Jill Smith|Jill]]. Pollination Tech#9 is a [[Family (aspiration)|family]] sim and had an important part in raising his and Jenny's children. He taught all toddler skills to Johnny and two toddler skills to Jill, while Jenny taught her how to walk. Since he has no memories of having another job after retiring, Pollination Tech#9 was likely a stay-at-home dad. When the Smith family is first played, he is 10 days away from [[death]].
Though technically a strange extraterrestrial, Pollination Technician 9 is the patriarch of Strangetown, and father of four of its citizens. Although he seems to have had a very [[Pollination Technician|strange occupation]] in his adulthood, Pollination Technician 9 always wanted to just have a regular family.
 
Retiring after his ascent into elder-hood, he adopted the last name "Smith" and started a new family in the heart of [[Strangetown]], becoming a well-known community leader who is respected and admired by most of his neighbors, excluding his resentful neighbor - and enemy - [[General Buzz Grunt]], with whom he is feuding.
 
He is married to [[Jenny Smith]] and is the father to [[Johnny Smith]] and [[Jill Smith]] through Jenny. He had an important part taking care of his and Jenny's children.
