'''Postcards''' are a collectible introduced with ''[[The Sims 4]]''. The only way of collecting them all is by befriending multiple pen pals by writing them letters.
Before a [[Sim]] can write letters, however, they have to find a pen pal first. To do that, the player has to locate the "Socialize" menu point on the [[computer]]'s pie menu and choose "Find a Pen Pal". Afterwards, the player can get that same Sim to check their forum post for any replies. If the Sim gets in contact with someone, a [[notification]] will confirm this. After writing a letter to their pal, the option to ask for a postcard will appear. When the option is chosen, there will be a chance that the Sim receives a postcard in the [[mailbox]] the next day.
''[[The Sims 4: My First Pet Stuff]]'' adds seven new post cards to the collection, that can be obtained from travelling [[rodents]]. Postcards can be placed on the cork board area of the rodent cage.
