Programming is a skill in The Sims 4. It allows Sims to create games and apps, and allows Sims to earn money by making plugins or hacking.

Level	Ability	Notes
1	Practicing Programming	Boosts Programming Skill.
2	Make Plugins,	Earns Money ONCE, gives Confident.
2	Hack	The higher level you are the more money/rewards. But chance of failing results in needing to repair it.
3	Mod Game	Gives Epic Game Moodlet when playing a modded game.
4	Make Viruses	Gives you money.
5	Perform Freelance Work	Gives you money but takes a while.
6	Hack Work Performance	Gives you a boost to your work performance.
7	Make Mobile Phone Apps	You earn royalties for each app.
9	Make Computer Games	You earn royalties for each game.
