Relation to the Mrs. Crumplebottom
Due to the same family name as herself, it has been proposed that Mrs. Crumplebottom is a relative of Prudence. It is sometimes said that she is a distant cousin, though many belive she herself is Mrs. Crumplebottom because of her similar appearance and the fact that Prudence's grave cannot be found in the Goth Family Graveyard.
