This might have been the Queen Solomon, since the crash and sinking would explain why they never come back and aren't even heard from ever again. If this is the case, they probably died, since they're not among the survivors.
*The story is very reminiscent of that of the infamous crash of the ''Titanic'', with the ship sinking and most of the unseen Sims never coming back, including the previously mentioned Damien and Celeste Girard, never coming home.
*The name, the "Queen Solomon", may be a reference to the infamously haunted Queen Mary ship.
