Reventlov's Bot Workshop is an object in The Sims 3: Into the Future. It is a machine used to create Plumbots, trait chips, and nanites. It can be purchased in Buy mode. Sims can also use the workshop at the bot emporium in Oasis Landing. Sims can WooHoo inside of it, but cannot try for baby.
Designing a nanite does not require the Bot Building skill. However, creating a nanite is not free, the cost depends on the type of nanite. Designing and creating a trait chip requires at least Level 1 Bot Building skill; the exact level required depends on the chip. Creating or customizing a Plumbot requires at least Level 2 Bot Building skill. Creating a Plumbot costs §250, while customizing an existing Plumbot costs §100.
Sometimes, while a Sim is designing or creating with the bot workshop, it will make an error, which will frighten the Sim. This will not harm the Sim, but simply prevents them from creating or designing further.
