Rod Humble is an NPC that is introduced when the FreeTime expansion is installed. When you first play a lot after installing it, he makes a brief visit and leaves a wrapped package, which turns out to be a computer, to the lot you're playing. The computer is a regular computer with an "easter egg": it contains an official, previously unreleased video of | The Sims 3.

He is the Sim-version of Rod Humble, one of the producers of | The Sims 3.
