Scrap
Scrap is a kind of material which functions as a "currency" in The Sims 3: Ambitions. Each Sim can pick up and carry an indefinite amount of scrap, they can use it for many kinds of skills, such as Inventing.
Methods to get scrap
- Digging through Junkyard scrap piles
- Using the Miner
- Detonating objects
- Smashing objects (SimBot interaction)
- Buying scrap at the invention bench
- Rummaging through garbage cans
