The Show Stage (8x7), or simply refer to as the stage, is a buydebug object in The Sims 3: Showtime. As the name implies, the stage is used to hold shows for the performing sims. It is essential object for gigs to be completed and the SimFest event to be held.
When place in an applicable venue, Sims in the performance careers will perform on it.[1] If the performer in question is a controlled or that of a SimPort sent Sim, the player will have the choice to choose a setup of the stage. By clicking on the stage or waiting for the prompt, the player can choose to use the venue's current setup, previously saved setup or a custom one. Picking the custom setup option will switch the game to build mode and give the player the limited ability to decorate and renovate the stage with stage props.
Sometines, a Simfest is held where performing Sims compete against each other. After each entry show, the proprietor can be seen interacting with the stage, calling out every contestent and asking the audience to give a round of applase. The player can send their active Sims to the lot to watch the event, or even partake in it.
Notes
- ↑ The stage will function in Big show venues, Coffeehouses (pools, gyms, libraries and dive bars can substite the lot), Live show venues (hangouts and dance clubs can replace it), and Private venues (lounges, art galleries and horse ranches will replace this type of lot).
