==The Sims 2 (Nintendo DS)==
[[File:PetBunyipFed.png|200px|thumb|A Sim feeding a Bunyip]]
In ''The Sims 2'' for DS, there's a few small pets that can be purchased at the Strangetown General Store. The Koi Pond has one carp that periodically jumps about, it can only be admired. The Pet Bunyip will do a back flip each time it has been fed. These pets can only be placed in the player's suite or the hotel guest rooms.

===Frogs===
Frogs can only be caught in the wild, and cannot be bought unless the player uses the
bb.showhiddenobjects
cheat. There are 24 25 kinds of frogs available, with rarer kinds being worth more Simoleons, though all frogs have an [[environment]] score of 3.

Sims can view a frog's terrarium to determine what kind it is, and can breed two frogs together if both are in their inventory. There are no other interactions and, unlike fish, frogs can't be named.
