Snake charming is an activity in the The Sims: Makin' Magic and The Sims 3: World Adventures.

The Sims

In The Sims: Makin' Magic, on some of the Magic Town lots, Nagganaste the snake charmer would let Sims try to charm his snake and earn MagiCoins, but if their energy is low, they may fall asleep in the process.

The Sims 3

In The Sims 3: World Adventures, Sims can purchase a Snake Charming Basket while on vacation in Al Simhara. When they try to charm the snake, a Sim can be bitten in either the face or the hand. If a Sim is skilled enough, they can purchase a king cobra and reduce the chance of getting bitten by it. Sims who have been cursed by mummies can have the curse lifted by kissing a snake. If a snake charmer has gotten the snake to perform at least once, they can then charm snakes into the clothes of other sims on that lot! The affected Sim will jump around as if they are on fire, and when the charmer stops, the victim will immediately go to argue with the offending charmer. Also, for reasons unknown, a mysterious Mr. Gnome or Laundry Gnome will occasionally pop out of the basket for a second or two before going back inside the basket.
