Snowman kit

If a lot in the "winter" themed area of Vacation Island has a rental shack, Sims can rent a snowman kit. Once the kit is rented, the Sim who rented it will go somewhere on the lot and begin building a snowman, but the player has no control over where the Sim will go. Sims with higher creativity skill build better snowmen.

The player can direct other family members to join the activity, in which case the renter's creativity skill seems to control the quality of the snowman. If a child joins in, one of the adults building the snowman will often hold the child so he or she can add the final touches.

In The Sims 2 with Holiday Party Pack / Happy Holiday Stuff pack, players can manually built a snowman themselves by stacking three different size decorative spherical snowballs that come with pre-designed attached accessories in Buy mode under Decoration section in Miscellaneous catalog. Unlike the Sim constructed Snowmen, this decoration-built ones don't melt.
